Terms of Service
Effective October 8, 2026.
1. The service and seller
Video to MD at videotomd.com is operated by Strike Logic in the United States. Contact hello@videotomd.com about orders, cancellation, refunds, access, or rights concerns.
We research a topic or workflow and turn what we learn into a concise Markdown (.md) brief: practical steps, commands, requirements, and warnings that you can read or use with your AI tools. Your payment is for our research, selection, checking, writing, and delivery.
We use AI-assisted research and writing with human review. A check against documentation is not a claim that we executed every command or tested every setup. Briefs describe the checks performed and may identify unresolved issues. Software and services change, so a brief is a dated research product, not a promise of continuing accuracy.
Purchasing means you accept the version of these terms presented at checkout. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement.
2. Prices, access, and delivery
Prices are in US dollars. Any applicable tax and your total appear before you pay. Stripe processes payment; we do not receive your full payment-card number.
- Free samples: designated samples are available without payment or signup.
- One free brief: provide your email to unlock one additional brief of your choice. One selection per email; the first selection stays assigned to that email. Update emails are optional.
- Library — $9 per month early: pick any individual .mds and packs from the library, with new additions and two video-to-.md conversions per billing month included. Planned to move to $15 for new members in one or two months; the exact date is not set. Existing early members keep $9 while continuously subscribed.
- Library + 5 videos — $15 per month: all Library access with five total video-to-.md conversions per billing month, delivered to your checkout email.
- Library + daily videos — $20 per month: everything in Library plus at least one video a day, with more as capacity allows, processed one at a time.
All plans renew monthly until canceled. Add your first video link at checkout or send links from your purchase email to hello@videotomd.com. We use the existing video conversion pipeline, review the result and deliver your .md by email. Inaccessible, duplicate or declined videos do not use a conversion. Existing single-file purchases keep their original access. Custom work is manually reviewed and delivered; it is not an instant conversion. We may decline an inaccessible source, unlawful material, or a request outside the service's scope and refund the order in full.
Download files you want to keep. Browser access uses a cookie and can be lost when you clear browser data or switch devices. Contact support with your purchase email and receipt to restore eligible access; never send card details or browser cookies. Downloaded files remain licensed after a subscription ends, unless the applicable purchase is refunded. Online availability is not a lifetime hosting guarantee. If we discontinue purchased access, we will provide a reasonable download opportunity or an appropriate refund.
3. Independent research and paid placement
Ordinary library briefs are our independently selected research. We do not offer free promotion of the videos we research. A reference to a tool, documentation page, or necessary source identifies evidence or dependencies; it is not an endorsement or a promotional benefit.
For a paid custom order, you may supply a public name and link to identify your commission. If your order includes public placement, we label the placement Sponsored next to the entry and on its brief page. The one-day placement starts when the finished brief is published, not when payment is taken. Multiple paid entries may appear together; no exclusive position, traffic, sales, search ranking, or favorable conclusion is guaranteed.
Payment does not buy a favorable review or removal of material warnings. We may correct, qualify, or decline unsupported claims. Public identification is limited to the name and link you supply for that purpose; your checkout email and billing information are not published.
4. Submitted content and third-party rights
Submit only material you own or are authorized to have us use for the requested service and any ordered promotion. Do not submit credentials, private personal information, confidential footage, or links intended to bypass an access restriction.
You give us a limited, nonexclusive permission to access and analyze the submitted material, use service providers for that work, prepare and deliver the brief, and publish the agreed paid placement and supplied credit. You retain your rights in your original material.
We do not claim ownership of third-party videos, software, names, trademarks, code, or documentation. Our original writing and arrangement do not transfer rights in those underlying materials. Any applicable license or legally required acknowledgment still applies. Payment, paraphrasing, or omitting a source credit does not by itself establish permission to use protected material.
Send rights complaints to hello@videotomd.com with the affected URL, the work or right involved, your relationship to it, and a way to contact you. We investigate and may remove or revise the material while reviewing a complaint. This contact is not a representation that we have registered a statutory copyright agent.
5. Your license to the brief
After valid payment, or a legitimate free unlock, you may read, download, keep, and adapt the brief for your own personal or business work. You may give it to the AI assistants and tools you use for that work. You may use the resulting knowledge and independently developed work commercially.
You may not resell or publicly redistribute our brief text, publish a mirror of the library, share paid access credentials, or build a competing collection by copying our briefs. This restriction does not give us ownership of facts, general ideas, or third-party material, and does not reduce rights supplied by law or a third-party license.
6. Refunds and cancellation
Our Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of these terms.
You may request a full refund within 14 days of a one-time purchase or subscription charge by emailing hello@videotomd.com from the purchase address with your receipt or order reference. No explanation is required. A subscription refund also cancels future renewals unless you ask us to keep the subscription.
Cancel recurring billing through Manage or cancel my subscription, or email support before your next renewal. Cancellation stops future charges and ordinarily leaves access available until the end of the paid period. A refund ends the refunded entitlement. After a refund, stop using and delete copies covered by that refunded purchase.
We also refund duplicate charges and custom orders we cannot fulfill as promised. These policies do not limit mandatory rights to cancellation, withdrawal, correction, or a refund in your jurisdiction.
7. Responsible use and service limits
Review commands and permissions before running them. Back up important data. A brief cannot account for every operating system, software version, account setting, or consequence of an AI tool's actions. No financial, legal, medical, security, or other professional outcome is guaranteed.
Do not attack the service, evade access controls, harvest customer information, or use submitted material unlawfully. We may suspend access for material misuse or a credible security threat. Where practical, we will explain the issue and allow correction. We do not use suspension to avoid providing a refund owed for service we fail to deliver.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as described without additional implied warranties, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service during the previous 12 months. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, or liability and consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Changes and contact
We publish material changes with a revised date and notify affected subscribers before changes apply to future renewals. A change does not retroactively remove purchased rights or the stated early-member price.
Contact hello@videotomd.com first so we can resolve a problem. Nothing here requires arbitration, waives a class action, or removes access to a court or consumer authority available under applicable law.
